Blood flows and pours and drips

As a razor tears and tugs and rips

My skin, dripping liquid burns with all the ecstasy of fire

And I rejoice in all the pain that it wires through my body

Control, a feeling I want for so bad

Disillusioned with everything that I’ve had

Nothing feels better, nothing is more pure

Nothing feels worse, there is nothing that it ever cures

But for one desperate moment I’m me again I can feel it

And at that time I lose sight of the moment

Scratching, cutting, heavenly razor

Take me away from this hell I’ve created

The pain is my toll, and I’ll pay it over and over again

Each cut is a lifetime, each single new sin

But my soul is dying, it will never show

The damage to my body will never undo

The thing that I thought was keeping me sane

Was driving me crazy, and I’m the one to blame
