Moon brighten, the sky, for haunted nights

a poem by Trevor wade!!!!!!!!

sun is dimming, through trees! fast asleep!
As i gaze, look the stars, playing in dark,
the moon is gathering thoughts!
I'm just pondering.... who will stop and admire?
i wonder....what a glorious spectacle,
could it be the man in the west moon,
i heard! one whisper of that!
i start to understand!

o' i adore you! o' glorious night
have your best star
fill the heavens!
with the brightest
of light!
o' glorious night!

i talked to moon and the stars!
and the heavens,
please harm me none!
i come with no gifts, to barter
but please harm me none!
i whisper, my fear of sleep!
my haunted fear of night!
please, harm me none!

i parched myself tightly.
to the window seal!
i feel the cold frost!
that touches my cheek
as i take a closer look!

i always gaze upon night in awe!
but this night!
the stars had bloomed,
over frosted ground
shining back and fourth
like a reflection,
a mirror of light,
i could not help but to feel a glow
even with my fear of sleep!
will i remember this enchanted
night?

o' my precise dark night!
keep me awake
till morning light!
o' how i adore you,
be kind as i lay to sleep!
o' my precise dark night!

my eye's heavy and glazed!
i wonder...
will the moon remember all of my stories,
i ponder.......
pacing the floors
i grab the last hope, to stay awake..
a simple objected
but a trusted tool!
my pen!
o'please,
help me stay awake,
the moon will us give its enchanted light!
as i try to stay awake!

moon wiil you brighten the sky for haunted nights?
