I roam around the world on the seven seas

Just wishing there was a girl to please

I have all these pictures of pin up girls

But they’re not enough, for you are my world

I’ve looked and searched for someone to replace you

But I couldn’t manage a girl to get close to

For you are my sunlight and my moonlight

And the most beautiful thing to have ever entered my sight

You are the sweet and docile sea

For it a mimic of the beautiful thee

You are my one and only true siren

It’s you that I think of when I’m tiring

I’m saddened by the letter you sent me

Though I bet sending it was easy

You couldn’t wait for a love

It’s the only thing I have to my name in this cove

For I am stranded here for the rest of my days

Looking to return to us in oh so many ways

But you see there is no more us

And I can’t understand why I fuss

For all I wanted was to be lovers

But here I wake up alone in covers

Covers of loneliness and sadness

Oh would you look at me, I’m a mess

As I sit in this very cove

All I can think about is our love

“Why don’t you forget her?” the mermaid said

“For I am here if you want attention to be paid,

Paid to such a beautiful creature,

You should listen to such a beautiful teacher.”

I ended up listening to her every word

Because there were no other girls

She ate me up and spit me out

Will I ever find love,

It’s an idea that I doubt.

So here I am alone in the bitter cold

I am fine again for I have no soul.
