  • It still such a wonder to me how powerful music is.  How a song can bring you right back to a time and place no matter how many years it’s been.  How you felt, and the experience that went with that music.
  • More then a decade ago lying in bed in Boston I started thinking about I always wanted to take a road trip across America, the vast land and beauty this country beholds, that is the reason why I always considered this country great.  From it’s beauty in nature.  The idea haunted me more and more till it became a deep necessity to make it happen and whether it was coincidence or not my Irish friends happened to be spending the summer on the beach in San Diego.  What better way to end a voyage.
  • Coldplay’s album became the soundtrack during my train journey across America.  For me the great risk wasn’t the train journey itself but bringing an album I’d never heard that could’ve been total crap.  Luckily it was perfect.  And to this day whenever I hear a song from Rush Of Blood To The Head it always brings me back to that wonderful experience.  How the scenery before my eyes was in perfect time with the music.  How the sun setting over the Arizona desert in all it’s majestic grace along with the music was a perfect simple moment that put me in the directors seat of a movie with no effort, dialogue, or effects.  Exceptional oneness and quiet mind.  Just being.
