This is a poem I wrote one night, will lying in bed, contemplating life and love and why nothing ever works out.

My heart beats quite

Like a whisper in the night

Speaking the feelings that I hold so tight

Saying with every beat, your name

As if to it, love, is but a game

But for too long have I muffled its beat

And forced my feelings to retreat

Unleash them I will, upon the world

To express my hearts voice to you, my special girl

Come whatever may, I say

For nothing will cause me to stray

I am and will be forever yours

I love you too much, to be silent anymore.
