A reflective poem in nature

Death of a crimson rose

I once saw a crimson rose,

Its sweet scent filling the air around,

Its velvety petals brimming with life

Filling the nature with joy unbound...

I saw it again on a day of storm,

Striving hard to survive the whip

Of stormy wind, but it failed

It's beauty and life to keep...

Now all rotten, ignored by all,

Fallen from glory, love of men,

Its scent a past, petals now dust,

Ends its life with the end of rain...

Is this humanity, to ignore the soul

Now fallen from glory, left by fate?

Lifeless and still, below empty branch,

The rose now gets stares of hate...
