And as the moonlight hit his skin,
A pain spread across the withered body,
Raven screams illuminated the night,
Freeing the darkness from within.

Skin started peeling and bone greeted sight,
The shaking man fell to his knees, pleading,
Begging for the mercy of death to descend,
But death laughed in his face and watched.

A new form was being taken, one of power,
One of everything man tries his hardest to hide.
A form of which children and adult are warned,
One of a bright-eyed beast, wise to impulse.

With coarse hair and sharp claws, nature in heart,
He falls to all four feet, the night his to own,
But the wolf cries to the moon instead,
Unable to take the monster which he has become.
