I'm Forced

I'm forced,
to be an abstract
of my own shadow's envy

Running,
from any commitment
raising my brow at inconsistencies

You may find that rather plain,
but I am saddened, by my world
or the shell
that I think is one

~Rubbish you fool,
stop saying the wrong
envelops
the cities, towns and the nations~

Like a castaway, my offspring
drift toward shores of mayhem,
I cry out ... nothing

Hear me,
oh great wind
of my own making,
move me from such dissension
As I yearn for warmth of a real life

Behold,
the frail wounds
of my downfall
as they come
to bury my remains
listless kissed my pain prevails

I no longer,
have to contemplate
a temple
of green meadows cascading

I no longer,
may hear
my evil cries in remorse
but my spirit flies to the east

Whispers
of the morn
beckon sweet dreams
my children will not rest in peace
