Open it with a soft crack,

Scents of parchment fill the air,

Hardcover and paperback,

Erika’s no longer here.

My style, my fashion.

My hobby, my passion.

The reader stands alone.

Awake with sleep in my eyes,

My literary caffeine.

Excitement I don’t despise.

Energy and self-esteem.

My style, my fashion.

My hobby, my passion.

The reader stands alone.

Hey there, you little bookworm.

This sports game will make you smile.

You’re sure reading up a storm.

Let’s break for a while.

My style, my fashion.

My hobby, my passion.

The reader stands alone.

Stop reading you maniac!

I’m such a contradiction.

Fantasy and brainiac.

It’s my healthy addiction.

My style, my fashion.

My hobby, my passion.

The reader stands alone.
