Ever been told you are not good enough, ever been laughed at by someone more richer and better placed, ever been told you poetry is like a baby's scribble? Well I have, and I want to try a baby scribble just for the fuck of it.

he says I am not good to be

he says fitness is a monimer

he says I cant reach my uhulu

that my best is like a childs scribble

he sees my gift as immature

he calls my rymes weak

he says I should learn off him

he forgets he has no script

now he eats his words

now he sweats my words

now he echos my verse

now he plays my rythm

not that I be better

not that I changed my style

not that I woke afresh

not that the day is new

its just that my time is due

its just that today is mine

its just that my cup is brewed

its time to rule my world
