SHE LEFT TO SEEK ANOTHER WHO MAY NOW LOVE LIKE HIM.SO I WRITE TO ASK WHY

Through grins of grimace she tells her grief

Through splats of spittle she tries to brief

Though droplets of tears blinds her eye

The tale is told through whines and lyre

Rising and falling of pitch explains the hitch

That led to the clause that caused the switch

Caught in the wedge of opposing loves

She cleaved to him that understood her modes

He who loved her more she shoved back

To the bitter world of loveless lack

Where the shattered of loveville abide

To await the trip to purgatory’s other side

Where heartwreck’s agony slowly abate

In-between the twin peaks of another’s bosom

For her the tale is told, and her choice fore-sworn

For him life does go on with lessons shown

Their shared love a thing of shade

In which pain and sorrow found places to hide
