Just like a bolt

of sun light Under

a forest canopy.

You struck my tender

heart

With the force of a

tantalizing cobra,

you held my soul

captive

Entrapping my heart,

in a web of desire.

You endeared yourself

to me,

even without meaning to.

Your grace is like a bird’s,

though you are more

complex

than a simple life.

More like an alluring

Dew,

That settles on

An early morning

Flower in blossom
