Eyes like fiery coals
Glowing in its cloudless sky
Such allure that strips bare my soul
Leaving me scrubbed of all pretence
Didn’t your smile invade tonight’s dream?
Tossing and turning couldn’t evade your image
Finally surrendering when desire filled to brim
Inert feelings that sprung to outbound life
How can I not see with eyes closed?
When your imprint stalks my mind
Though you say we become uncrossed
My heart raises and falls only to you
Desperation darkens my soul’s fort
For light, that originates from thee
Is now cast in doubt some doubt
Laying hurt where smirks should be
Hush! My dream cast kitten
These quick tears raise storms
That floods compassion within
And washes aside presumed scorn

Your writing is unique, lovely, and fascinating! I haven't read ALL of your writing yet.., but I do believe I'll become a "fan". I look forward to reading more from you!
