Hhmph. This was supposed to be kickass, but it isn't as kickass as I remember. Oh well. It's a song, by the by. RAR.

In the end there was nothing but silence,
In the end there was nothing but solitude,
In the end there was no violence,
In the end there nothing, not even you.

There was darkness, all around me,
Beautiful silence, I was free,
I was just floating, not really there,
I had no worries, no cares.

In the end there was nothing but nothingness,
In the end there no love,
In the end, no you, no me, no us,
In the end nothing but nothingness.

I was relishing the freedom,
Watching the darkness, taking my time,
Fearing nothing, feeling fine,
Watching death give birth to peace.

In the end there was no fighting,
No lying, no crying, no dying,
No killing, no stealing, no crime,
Nothing but darkness, nothing but time.

There were no plagues, no wars, no heartaches,
There were no loud voices in my head,
No one telling me I’d be better off dead,
No one watching the blood turn the water red.

In the end there was nothing, nothing at all,
I felt big, I felt tall,
I felt good, I felt strong,
You weren’t there, so nothing was wrong.

For once in my life I was alone,
Not painfully so, just peacefully alone,
No one to hurt me, no one for me to hurt,
No one to hide from, no one to lie to.

In the end there was nothing,
No pain, no love, no screaming,
No you, no me,
No sadness, no fucking heart ache.

I was alone, not painfully so,
Finally alone,
But chilled to the bone,
As the darkness pressed in.
