I got angels watching me, protecting me
From people who wish death on me
Cleansing my mind, like using bleach in a bath
Walking into the light to purify my soul as I laugh

I got people wishing my death everyday
They don't like me or what I have to say
People trash talk my name with no regret
They don't like me, they think I'm a threat
Put my name in vein so they can feel better
They want my body with my death letter
Surprised their wishes haven't became true
Maybe the angels are some family or crew
Helping me through good and bad times
Saving me from any and all crimes
Why try to save something that is smaller than them
Why, when they know I'm destined for Him
That I'm just destined to forever burn
For this is something I haved learned
But still they fly over me to save my soul
Maybe one day I figure it out though

I got angels watching me, protecting me
From people who wish death on me
Cleansing my mind, like using bleach in a bath
Walking into the light to purify my soul as I laugh

Everyday I fight the devil as they try to recruit
But when I get heaven I know I'll just get the boot
Broken wings that go from white to pitch dark black
Feel like I got to get this demon off my back
So I try to do what is right not matter how bad
So these angels try to keep me from going mad
Who are these angels? is it Aunt B or Grandma?
Amazing I'm still breathing as I get another call
Friends got my back as I move forward
Angels make sure that I don't get bored
Put my curiousity in line and straighten me up
And stand behind my back when things get ruff
I got angels no matter what you think
And they'll carry my soul when life is on the brink
So when they do they'll guide me to those gates
I just hope I'm right and its not to late

I got angels watching me, protecting me
From people who wish death on me
Cleansing my mind, like using bleach in a bath
Walking into the light to purify my soul as I laugh
