I wrote this is 2009. This poem I wrote cause I was a "know nothing" kid. I had no clue what to do with myself. I was confused and this poem greatly puts my mind i front of you. Enjoy!!!

Light & Midnight Darkness

By: Mike Clements

A time of wonder

of dark secrets or even

dark truths

of essientail beliefs.

Wonder rises to me

many times over.

What is light?

What is darkness?

What place shall my salvation lie?

I wonder is the darkness really evil.

In my midnight chamber I wonder.

Intense are my humble revalations shall be cast.

I wonder thus more,

What is a lie or truth?

Are deeds and wrongs recognized.

Midnight darkness I woner still.

Still and motionless

I wait for an answer.

Only questions arise to me

as you can clearly see.

Ever so pondering my endless thoughts,

Is light really good?

Which one awaits me?

I will never know in this lifetime.

All I can share is my withering sign.

Mysteries of these such inspire me,

but which way shall I go?

In the light...

the midnight darkness.
