The little girl tugged at her fathers hand
To show him the bunny she drew in the sand
Impatient and hyper she runs on ahead
As he watches her there is a feeling of dread.
She is innocent and sweet an daddy's little girl
And he wonders if she'll be able to take on the world
The dangers and threats all throughout this life
So filled hatred, anger, and strife.
In anticipation the girl jumps up and down
and the father looks unto the ground.
The bunny is lopsided, crooked, and scraggily
Due to the waves it was destroyed tragically.
She pouts and stares wistfully
And he cheers her up blissfully
By tossing her up into the air
Then he catches her and ruffles her hair.
She giggles and laughs, grinning from ear to ear
And he notices night is ground near.
So reluctantly they leave
Maneuvering through the streets
Upon coming home the father starts to say
How if anything bad happens it'll be okay
The little girl replies "I've got nothing to fear
For I have the most bravest daddy here!"
