What are the answers we so desperately search for?
With no questions to start with our journey can’t begin,
What strikes the match to make flame in our hearts?
When we risk all to fight though we might not well win,
We cannot take blame for inherited nature,
Yet we must understand it, ere change can take place,
Reflect on our purposes prior to living,
Debate on our features before losing face,
Circumstance alters our stages of progress,
But progress is made through all life’s situations,
Time is healer but also a hurter,
For how can we wait without first gaining patience?
We all have potential, but we also have limits,
Our abilities stop when we’ve touched on the border,
We are angered by knowledge of worldly destruction,
But without any mess would there ever be order?
The truth to life’s mysteries will not be uncovered,
For honesty has but no reason to hide,
Why do we insist on a life of contentment?
When our human existence lacks so much in pride?
