My bleeding heart now rips.

My blood is spilled and not refilled

and so my hearts blood drips.

Painful things are felt.

Prying eyes despise the lies.

My heart begins to melt.

Left alone I cannot help but fade.

I've lost it all and now I fall.

Because of choices made.

Feeling lost without you.

It really cannot be.

The loss of love has taken more than I can bear to see.

At times I can't be more distraught.

Nothing will suffice.

I've felt real love and felt it's sting and now I've paid the price.

Leaving all the tings behind I wish I had said more.

My mind was ready to submit,

to feelings that I bore.

Finding love was just the start.

I'm glad I found the door.

Although I didn't have the key, I knew what lay in store.

Those times have past. My prayers will last because my will is strong.

Although it's love that I have sought.

It seems it all went wrong.

How much blood must I now spill to feel embrace again?

I've run so far, I've shed my tears

and cannot take the pain.

Love has left its mark on me. It's cut me to the core.

Love torments my being

and I can take no more.
