Reality
When I close my eyes,
failure fills my vision.
the all impending doom,
A most dastardly sensation
A flip of the paper,
a look of the eye.
A suggestive picture,
And I feel like it’s time to die.
There was no doubt,
that I was meant for something greater,
yet all I feel like
is a big epic failure.
A comforting word,
a thought spared,
was all but naught,
Lessons learned,
Or so they thought.
For none were taught.
Effort squandered,
Comfort lost,
Belief slaughtered,
melted like frost.
Disaster and chaos,
trials making a man who believes
in nothing but a dream
A utopian ideal far begotten from the realm of
reality
