I never thought it would feel this way,
Like a dream in the day,

Then one day it comes for you,
Like a virus, I swear it's true,

You feel it consume your blood,
You feel it enter your mind,

Scared, Pain, Panic ... then it starts to bind,
You become the darkness ... no one will find,

Your eyes will haze and you will see no light,
Fire burns with your every touch no matter how hard you fight,

The demons laugh as they twist your thoughts,
Tired, Weak, Helpless ... you are drained of all,

You try not move so it starts to fade,
Then you fall asleep, until tomorrow ... it waits.
