At night we begin our bloodletting
A Sliver moon cold hanging
In a quiescent sky all silver, sparkling.
Dead dreams and wrong thinking
Carried us here lonely
A solitary nocturnal requiem.
A red pool grows slowly
Covers the concrete
And shows who we never really were.
