Rising stars, and sailing moon, blanket the sea of night.
Stars are climbing, moon light shining in the sky of night.
Frightening faces, heartbeat races, live the fright-mares of night.
Dreams are leaping, children sleeping, dancing a good dream's night.
Others walking, without talking, sure and silent, without fright-
the silent beings, thoughts and feelings safety seeming right.
They know the night, for not the fright, but imagination's flight.
They do not fear for they seek the solace,
the quiet,
and the might-
'cause in the break of day, manyplay, and forget that dark, cool, sight...
Of the silent night.

This poem is so awesome, I loved the rhyming scheme! It's so realistic, relatable, and well, poetic. I have a couple favorite poems though I usually stick to novels and short stories, but I think this one just beat them all. I agree with Kirstin, don't push it, but when you do get another piece up (hopefully soon) could you let me know?

Omg this is really good, you should defanatly write more poems like this but only when you get the insperation (like what you clearly had here) trust me with poems it's better waiting for something to come o you than forcing it. But yeah back to the point this is really GOOD
