poem on loss ,love and longing

all the worlds your play field my love told me

the words of wisdom seldom so true

i went about the world ,found love

wealth and beauty and all the other things the good world has to offer

but somewhere along the way

i wanted to find new love ,lost my wealth and my sanity

and youthful grandeur to the proximity of loss

the loss of heart to another

for we are destined if we do not want to hurt

to be cursed for all the right we want to do

for all the happiness we seek and want to give

what about the love that guided my path and stood by me

can i let their hands slip by me

in my greed for new love

a new life and a new playground.
