As I rode off into the sunset, I reflected on my options. I really shouldn'tve left my family, but I couldn't bear to see them unhappy and sorrowful for another minute. Ever since Seamus left as a boy, life had been hard - I didn't get the attention I deserved, and everyone was unhappy.

But just the same, I needed to find my brother to end my family's sad phase.

But it seemed fate had other opinions.

I rode for hours. Finally, around six o'clock in the morning, twenty miles away from home, I caught a small cottage in my sights. Dismounting from my horse, I stepped up to the door and rapped as hard as I could.

An elderly man answered the door. He gave me a toothless grin. "Now, what brings you to these parts, sonny boy?"

I should have silenced him right then and there and took his house for myself. But instead I smiled and said "Lookin' for a bit o' lodging...you got any?"

"As a matter of fact, I've been lookin' for a lad to share this home with," the old man said. He turned and walked gingerly through the front door. "Come on in."

I didn't hesitate. But what I didn't know was that unimaginable horror waited for me inside that house.
