~Missing You~

How long has it been, since we were together
Not much, yet counting the days
Not even a week, yet it feels like forever
Your warmth is gone, your smell still stays

Without delay, the loneliness kicks in
And there's nothing I can do
Sadness, Emptiness and everything in between
Is all I feel when I'm away from you

Our story, our memories
Come to my mind so vividly
Repeating like looping melodies
But I still embrace them willingly

Having no way to convey this feeling
I try to put it in words
Thoughts I've kept concealing
Hurting me like stabbing swords

Once my mind is finally clear
Having thought this through
Like all my worries disappear
I send it all written to you

Now the snow falls down
So enchanting, yet so fleeting
Walking in this lonely frozen town
I catch myself daydreaming
