And I breathe out the poison that once clouded my mind.

I see things for what they are.

kindness you paid to me was never there

the flowers in my hair quickly died

as did my hope

I realize that it never really was hope

It was something I told myself to cope

But now as I walk outside I smell the newly blossomed petals

I am not that broken shell you left many months ago.

Air fills my newly formed lungs

Yes, admittedly I was a child, but in all fairness you where too.

But look now I am much wiser than I was.

Funny how time works

ticking away at us constantly reminding us of how short

our lives really are.

Tick-tock

I've grown

Tick-tock

I've outgrown you.
