I have always been enchanted by literature. Whether it’s reading or writing, I never complained about it. How could I? No book is ever just a bunch of word stained pages. No school essay is just the requirement for a good grade.

It’s love.

Love for the main character. Love for pen on paper.

I appreciate literature because I see beauty in language. The type of beauty that stretches in all directions, and is as broad as your imagination can picture.

No rules. No wrongs. No reality.

I always thought that writing was just a hobby of mine - something that I’m reasonably good at and enjoy doing. I never thought it would be able to help me during a hard time, however. I didn’t realise the true satisfaction of it until I wrote a 10,000 word essay on a problem I’ve been holding in.

They say talking to someone helps you sort out your feelings, but I don’t think so.

It’s writing. Writing helps.

From that day, I was convinced.

I was convinced that an invisible reader accompanies everything I write. And I’m grateful for him, because now I know that when I feel like I have no one else, he’ll always be there.

So the next time you feel like everything is falling apart, write it down.

When nothing makes sense, write it down.

When the passion to write is all you've got, write it down.

:)
