 Remember me, Rosie

"How could you do this to me?" I pushed a six foot, two hundred pound man in to my kitchen wall. That man was my husband.
After a long day at work i came home to a romantic home cooked meal waiting for me. Rose petals on the floor leading to the kicthen table.there were candles lite, a bottle of wine and Italian food. It was a fantastic dinner until my husband Steve, the man i came to love told me he has been having an on going affair with someone in the middle of dinner. The best part is that he wants a divorce.
"Who is she?" He walk toward me. I stepped back again.
"It's your cousin." He said in a low whisper. My cousin? What? I looked just like my cousin, well i did ten years ago when we started to date. My cousin wasn't even done with collage yet.
"Lilly? Really? So when she's thirty your gonna leave her to right? Or is that just me?" I pained me to say that. It felt like a knife being stabbed into me repeatedly. Steve wasn't fighting back. Well, what could he say? He ripped apart our marriage. My family.
"I really like her. Maybe even love her. Why cant you be happy for me?"I pushed him again but this time i flung back. I was a five foot, hundred-twenty pound girl. i could feel eyes on me.
I turned to the enterens to the kitchen. Little Rosie was standing there. She had her favorite pajama's on. They had all the different kinds of princess printed on a drees. Rosie was only two. Her strawberry blond hair was curly. She didn't know what was going on. She looked as if she'd just gotten up. I doubt she could sleep through this. She was rubbing her eyes. She had a teddy bear in her hands..
I almost ran over to her. I realized that Rosie was all i had left. And one day she's  gonna want to leave to. I carried Rosie through the hallway to her room. She'd just gotten a "big" girl bed two months ago.She had a sleeping buetiy dresser. I oped it up and started to shove clothes into random bags laying around her room. Rosie slowly walked over to me. She knew something was wrong. She set her teddy bear on my lap. That's when i broke. her big brown eyes looking up at me. Her small hands on mine. A tear rolled down my face.
I wanted to get out of there as fast as i could. I didn't bother going to get my things. Id get them in a week or so and that's when id get the rest of Rosie's things. I graved Rosie and put her on my hip. On the other arm i had three bags of her things. On my right hand i was holding Rosie's teddy bear.I almost ran to the car blocking out very sound on my way out.
I snapped Rosie in her car seat. I started to drive. Every other second id look at her. Some how I'd think she'd left to so i had to look just to check.
Ten minutes into the drive Steve called. This was the third time he'd called. Maybe he knew that he'd never she her again. I answered the phone. It was picht dark out. I held the phone to my ear. "What?" I snapped.
"I realized that when you left that i need you and Rosie in my life. Please Rosalie, i need you. I need a second chance. I wiped a tear from underneath my eye.
"I don't have time for second chances." I hung up the phone.

Steve was looking at the ground. A grave yard ground e was looking at a tombstone. Rosalie Ann Swan. Underneath the the name wrote: Beloved mother and wife. At the end of the tombstone it says "Remember me, Rosie. "Daddy when she Mommy coming home. I miss her." A tear drop hit the ground. Steve looked down at Rosie. He picked her up. Rosie had on a white flowing dress and her hair pinned up.
"Mommy went to sleep." He pointed to the ground. She looked down. "Mommies in the ground? Why?" Steve's face filled with pain. How was he going to tell her that she died from a car accident because he cheated and the she was there when she died. Steve set Rosie down. She banded her hand down on the tome stone.
"Mommy, wake up. Mommy i want to play dolls with you. Mommy?" She put her eye to the tome. "Daddy i hear her. She moving. She awake!" Her face was full of life and shinning. Her face was full of innocence.
