A ray of sun struck her sleepy eyes,

It was morning, the sixteenth of November,

She got up and prepared for the day,

It was another day but felt like forever.

A man from the past she longer for,

He was far away- out of sight,

“Enrico” she unconsciously uttered,

Flashes of his memories filled her mind.

On that very same day on the sixteenth of November,

Enrico was crossing the street, fixing his tie,

A stray bullet found his chest bleeding,

He fell, eyes open, “Amelia” he cried.

She slipped the glass she was holding,

And got wounded, and was bleeding,

It was morning, the sixteenth of November,

It was like another day but felt like forever…
