I was going through some old stuff, and I found a book of little kid's undeveloped poetry. I read through it and started thinking, "why would I own something like this?" Well after looking through it I saw my name mixed with other young thinkers. I forgot I had done this. Anyway, I was 13 when I wrote this poem but none-the-less it is still in existence.

A man died on Calvary
Just to save the life of you and me.
Beware, demons, of His bloodstained cross,
For it was the reason for our sin loss.
Could you have done the same,
Steal all sin and take its blame?
Do you think you could take so much sin,
When you could be free from its burden?
Even though you would not know what to expect,
He had a plan that was more than perfect.
For He died to buy men into paradise,
And we should praise Him for His noble sacrifice.
Do you want to know this man?
Please just try; I know you can.
You don't have to do it quickly or talk real fast,
All you have to do is kneel down and ask.
