I might have done things no one should do.
It could be that you would have disapproved.

I may have said a few bad things today.
It's likely I meant them in every way.

Maybe I thought some weird things too,
And it's possible none were about you.

I think I'm lower than I was before.
Yea, I've dropped down to the bottom most core.
It seems no one but you can sense my fear,
But when my heart cries; It's your ears that hear.
I find a secret place, in hopes of you.
I've fallen far, this much I know is true

I know I've been walking a winding path.
I see my faith drops when each year goes past.

I feel the apathy that floods my soul;
It's spreading through my body I know

I know my strength is just a great blockade.
So break it down and have with me your way.
Lord my heart is still wicked, cold, and proud,
But my soul has spent years crying out loud.
The pain which plagues my heart is always clear,
Don't hold back your grace, for I need it here

Forgive us Jesus, your humble servants who fail their duties.
