The endless streets I walked alone;

Narrow paths of cobblestone;

With the building pale and white;

Like moon's reflection in the night;

And I whistled a song many know;

Yet everyone would whistle it differently;

Maybe I heard it when I was high, or maybe low;

Yet i whistle it quietly, nobody had to know;

And so the whistles travel through the night;

And I hope that it reaches you;

So that when you hear it your face turns bright;

As you smile;

And so I walk to the streets alone;

But I'm not that lonely;

For her voice follows me where ever I go;

And sings to the whistling tune;
