I stand between two bottomless pits;

Whichever way I go I'll wall to my death;

I stand here, remembering when we first kissed, on that place where a sea meets a sea;

Do you remember the golden sun shining gently on your face;

And the water glittering beneath your feet;

You broke my heart, left me to die;

And the darkness and sorrow consumed me;

Have you seen the thing I see at night;

The demons that torture me when I close my eyes;

Now it;s not your fault, my sweet angel;

That all the demons want me dead;

They're just lonely, my dearest angel;

I need to pay the unpaid debt;

I can;t stay here much longer, so come kiss me one last time;

Let me fall and die young, it;s better then to live a lie;
