Is there a thing as painful
As the moment you stand alone
By a cold wind blown
Away from where you called your home
My eyes are not green like leaves
Nor blue like mountain flowers
Slowly they are turning grey
From the endless lonely hours
Shame I feel strongly
But little do I care
If shame takes you from me
Let this be my farewell
Unlike my mind, my body is weak
My skin is slowly melting away
I just hope I don't have to see
The dawn of another painful day.
