She She is staring out She is not without Her doubts and tears

And And she feels the waves are churning Breaking into a heart that’s yearning For the turning of the years

They say time Time is the rhythm to every rhyme The solution to every crime Though you may have to climb for a while

In a fluid motion, she She unearths emotion Calming every ocean With the potion of her broken smile

See within Under my skin See within Under my skin

He He was a 2-ton chain A disguise to the brain Cries of shame in a twisted song

But now she She is dressed in lavender The color of the gender To which she belongs

They say the mind The mind will win over matter Though eyes perceive the latter The wise pull at the truth

So she She throws her arms open wide To let free what’s held inside And what’s divided pink and blue See within Under my skin See within Under my skin

What What could be the word? For the caged in bird I heard from behind

Or for she, She in the shadow of the world Waiting as the days unfurled For her sun to shine

They say the soul The soul will ascend to sky In our last sigh And we will turn from young to old

She She holds it when the storm occurs Against tremors it deters. It’s hers to hold

See within Under my skin See within Under my skin

She is She is The word is beautiful The word is beautiful

The truth is this The truth is this The world is beautiful The world is beautiful
