what i think about dreams

i can see what i can't see
every time i close my eyes
anything i want to be
logic does not apply
a man on Venus
a girl on the Moon
i'll jump straight to Uranus
and eat the stars with a spoon
i'll live under the ocean
with mermaids and mermen
without emotion
or a God, Amen
anything i dream
right in front of me
no lag from a jet stream
or tiny as a bee
overwhelmed by women
naked on the roof top
similar to Heaven
without Hell's bus stop
anything that creeps
into the old mind
whether you're asleep
or taking a nap at the time
it'll happen whether you know or not
sometimes you won't remember
other times you'll know on the spot
burning like an ember
dreams are what we think
happening all around
as we sleep and link
subconscious with conscious bound
they'll never go away
and will be here forever
even if we don't stay
our Dreams are you're endeavor
