i see a white screen
and in that screen i see
a field ive never seen
and in that field a tree

on this tree, fruits
all shapes and colors
plump and growing from it's roots
from the seeds of their mothers

feeding the people
that are attracted to it
building a town with a steeple
and worshiping thier holy sprit

the days grew old
as did the town's men
burying dead in the road
where the tree had led them

now the years have past
and a screen now bare
nothing ever seems to last
all we can do is stare
