i lay down. erase all the lines drawn with my overanxious fingertips,

decimation of every single boundary i set. none will make it out alive.

and then each will quiver as a product of the violence it observes,

now, installed with fear, each dying insecurity waits for its turn.

i'll be sure, love, that not a single tear is ever wasted on you.

however i can't promise that every droplet of blood won't ache

won't ache

won't ache for you.
