The weather was fine

The earth was calm

I wished you to be mine

And take the world into my palm

I hugged you tightly

And fought the urge

To kiss you slightly

Before the storm did surge

I longed for your lips

To be on mine

With your hands on my hips

And our bodies intertwined

In love I did fall

On that spring day

I beckoned to your call

In my heart you did stay
