I took a walk down Dead Man's Street..... Strange, to say the least.

Took a walk down Dead Man's Street

With the ghosts of yesterday at my feet

Windows of tomorrow reflecting back at me

But only pain and hatred, my bleeding eyes could see

Took a swim in Dead Man's Bay

Trying to wash thoughts of suicide away

But floating past, like a rotting corpse

Were the dreams I believed in, tied with my lost hopes

Took a drive in a Dead Man's Hearse

On a fast track to destruction, can't find reverse

A bullshit wall of hatred, anxiety and fear

And a Dead Man narcissist watching from the rear

Took a walk in Dead Man's Woods

Looking for daffodils and buttercups

But all I found were thorns and weeds

And a handful of suicide seeds

Took a jump off the Dead Mans Tree

A final act of betrayal, I'm finally free!
