We went walking in the moonlight

Down to Lovers Cove

Walking barefoot on the sand

Sea lapping at our toes

She turned and looked in my eyes

With her beautiful emerald greens

Intoxicating was her stare

I never saw the wave

It rushed us, pulling her away

Liquid strength tore her straight from my grasp

I struggled to get to my feet

I struggled to catch my breath

I heard her calling, before she was drown

I heard her scream she would get me

I sat in the sand, with my head in my hands

All I could do was scream

They never found her body, but I know that she's out there

Some nights I hear her singing to me, Her voice is so clear

Enticing me back there, to be with my true love

But I can't go back, I'm too afraid, I know what she's become
