Her smiling eyes, her laughing mouth

Oh how I wish I could see them now

Her warming glow, her soft, sweet voice

I wish I could tell her somehow

I'd tell her how she makes me feel

I'd drown in the gaze of her eyes

I'd get lost on the road, on my heart's beaten track

My Love, I would not hide

I'd tell her she completes me

That she is my best friend

I'd get down on one knee for her

And Love her to the end

Or heard her voice for a while

She went off to live her life

And left me with the remnants of mine
