Whispers do you hear

By the ghost of Charlotte does appear

A cold touch on the shoulder

Standing in front of the old boulder

The wind blows the hair across my face

Sounds of distant foot steps at a calm pace

A flash of the past before my eyes

Then look out to a long known sun rise

There is Charlotte standing looking out over the cliff

The scent of sweet roses catches my wiff

She stands there singing a symphony

The song is not for the ears of me

a song of mourn

everything that has been torn

She's lost her love

Who was her love

As she sang the rock ledge below her

Crumblid like a crash of thunder

Here lies a peaceful grave

Of the girl who was so brave

Next to her grave sits the ghost of Edward Cove

Dear Charlotte runs to her dove
