I wrote this about my dad, he was an abusive person, and through all the years of torment, I still turned out okay, or at least, that's how I see it. I love who I am.

You left me alone at the age of nine,

How could you think I would be just fine?

You told me I was worthless, that I had nothing left to live for.

Please dad, look me in the eyes and tell me I meant more.

But you can't do that,

So I'll just face the fact,

That you're gone now,

And you're not coming back.

All I ever asked for was a father full of love,

But now I'm alone, but I swear I'm living above.

Above you, and and all the heat-ache you left behind,

This feeling I have is one of a kind.

So now I'm saying bye too you,

But the my pain will stay the same,

I just hope that you'll come back someday,

And tell me it will all be okay.
