A hope lost

For I always fear being this number of one
Though my heart yearns for a new hope
My mind sends tells that the day will never come
And I shall awake to find myself only lone

And for this life is short I seem to be damned
to a forever-ness by my lonesome and to nothing
And thus comes the sleepless nights of despair
to were these dreams are no comfort

In that world to am I only alone
to fight with the struggles of life
a never ending cycle of abandonment
And for this trigger will do me no good

I can't help myself with these thoughts
Though be thy my own they are
I am but overwhelmed and useless to my self
for this hand only wish the warmth of another

And this crow will always be by my side
pecking at the things that yet I know
For this fowl is yet only my mind
i am only yet alone but yet I am dead

why shall I walk with nothing beside
for every thing has abandoned me
And I shall roam this world lonely and misguided
I am only a vacancy for this temporary home

and as a swimmer take pace to the current
my mind takes to body to tell to go
for these feet wish to walk no more
And only shall I wish for the last of my breath
