A beautiful star of mid night,
you laying in grass with me.
The moon breaks through the ties.
Touching you and leaving you be.

I sweep your silky luscious hair,
softly over your ear with a touch.
Smiling at you every moment of night,
From you to me, no thing is such.

Deep in my heart I know,
there is no love in this home.
I know soon I will have to leave,
forever alone just to roam .

Never have I found a woman,
so soft and unheard.
Yet I know you speak different tongues,
singing songs I never learned.

Songs that I don't see.
Songs I don't hear.
Songs of despair .
Songs of hurt near.

But please just give me till morning,
I'll always do what's right.
I'll leave when the sun rises,
To give up this fight.

But for just this night dear,
I now this could be our end.
If you don't love me,
please just pretend.

Now forever shall I run,
never to feel the same.
Changed since the day we meet
forever changed since this day came.
