You are feather.x

You are a fragile white feather, fallen from the one who created you, floating throughout the world confused. You drift through bright days reflecting the light from the mighty sun, twisting and turning allowing the wind to carry you as you place your trust in The Lord. Swiftly, you land in a river that’s flowing too fast for your innocent being to comprehend. You find yourself in the carless waters and begin to allow yourself to be thrusted around as if you were nothing. Yes, you are one simple feather out of many who roam the earth, however, there is only one feather like you. No other feather floats the same way you do, no other feather soars through the air quite like you do. As you silently float through the atmosphere, you encounter obstacles that create a harder path to travel down, however, nothing too hard for you to handle. The wind carries you day to day and you live with out knowing when you are going to stop drifting throughout the air freely. Everyday you go through more hardships and your white color fades to grey and brown and your innocent being becomes educated about the world you were born into. However, you will one day float into a river for the last time, with no wind to carry you any further. You will lie on the calm waters and be replenished and cleansed. You will look back on your life and see all the places you have been and the grey color you have inherited will be washed white as snow as you believe the end of this last river will lead you to the paradise you were searching for. You praise the Holy One who has been thrusting the wind to bring you back home. You are a fragile white feather, fallen from the one who created you, floating throughout the world confused. You hope and search that one day, the windy storms will be the only things pushing you closer to your hopeful destiny. Soar freely, reflecting the light of the mighty sun.x
