In my story the secret life of an american rockstar this will be the girl with black hair Alex or as her real name Daytona and the blonde her best friend
in this picture im really the blonde my sister is the black haired girl her name is kimberly
This is supposed to be Carson but without the piercings
Based on cori in Blind with hurt
Cori when she goes to her secret hiding spot (later on in story)
For a new story i will be writing once i get much farther with both my other stories

If it is a picture for a novel, then it is good with a picture, where the reader can see the whole face. If you, for example, look at my own writing, youll see, that my pictures are open, and give a clear image of the person.
I really like the first one.
I think having a picture helps you to write descriptions certainly...but as a reader I like to be able to imagine for myself. As a writer I create places but then want my readers to find their own way around. If you see what I mean. I want to make it seem real without dictating to them. So while a cover shot is a guide when you first open the book, I would then leave the reader to it. As I say though, this is just me.
By the way you and your sister are very striking girls :-)
I was planning to do this fot some of my characters as well in the near future. This really helps me with the imagination of the characters :D.
i really like the photos i usually find a good photo and just describe what i see but when i was reading both of your stories it really does help to see the person that your trying to protray the character as. One of my favourite quotes is one photo says a thousand words
