I originally wrote this when my grandfather died.

But, now, I have decided to post it on here.

At first, I didn't want anyone to read it, but I think it'll help me.

Tick, Tock

Tick Tock, Tick Tock

The sound goes on and on.

It counts the seconds I have with you,

The sweet, so precious time.

In the room, the big white room

the sound just never ends.

It counts the tears,

The sad and fallen tears.

Tick Tock,

Drip Drop,

the way it always has.

Tick Tock, Drip Drop.

Never do I ever,

Want to say goodbye.

Never ever ever,

Can I ever say goodbye?

Tick Tock,

Drip Drop,

Forced breath then fills the room.

Tick Tock...

And as the last one,

From your lips is drawn,

The clock seems to stop.

Some things are just to sad,

The tick tock,

It simply,

Had to

stop.
